95th National FFA Convention

The National FFA Convention & Expo was held in Indianapolis, Indiana. There are 850,823 FFA members in 8,995 chapters throughout the US, Puerto Rico & Virgin Islands. Silverton FFA was able to bring 14 students back  to compete, explore agriculture and meet some amazing supporters of agriculture.

Agriculture Technology & Mechanical
Our Ag Mechanic  team placed 11th in the nation! The team members were Kaleb Schurter, Gabe Voll, Jenna Schurter & Henry Bielenberg.
 

Agronomy
Our Agronomy placed 18th in the nation! The team members were Kendra Kuenzi, Lena Tribbett, David Tribbett, & Erin Towery
 

​Scott Towery received his Honorary American Degree this year. This award is the highest award given at a national level to individuals that rendered outstanding service to agriculture education & FFA.
