Silverton FFA CONSTITUTION
Adopted December 11th 2023 during the December FFA Meeting
Article XI. Fair Participation Responsibilities
Section A
To be in good standing and eligible to show at Marion County Fair and/ or State Fair, a member must meet the following requirements:
● Be approved by the executive board
● Have a satisfactory plan for their current SAE project
● Participate in 10 FFA Activities, one being a CDE or LDE unless approved by Executive board or Advisor/Advisors
● Attend the April, May chapter meeting and Silverton FFA Awards Banquet ● Have been enrolled in an Agriculture Education Course for one Semester per year or planning on being enrolled in an Agriculture Education Course for incoming Freshman Fall Semester
● The FFA Code of Conduct must be upheld during the fair season to continue eligibility for the following year

Failure to participate
● A member who does not fulfill fair duties such as assigned setup or clean up, daily project supervision without prior approval may be subject to a chapter fine in the amount up to $100, loss of privilege, or other approved consequence.

- Class registrations will open on May 3 and close on May 22

- The fairbook (both 4-H and FFA) is at the bottom of this page
- All Exhibitors should use the password mcfair26 to prevent issues with being locked out of the system
- Stall requests will look different this year. Stalls will be assigned based on animals registered however the fee structure will be the same as years past at $10 per exhibitor per area
